A tablecloth embroidered with gold, pink, green, and white thread. There is a black sunburst around a medallion in the centre. Outside the sunburst there is a large square of embroidery, followed by a black border and an embroidered border.

  • Opium pipe made from a dark brown bamboo branch. 
  • A metal bowl is attached by six small nails onto the side of the branch near the end.
  • The hollow end of the branch is sealed with a meal cap held by a single nail.

A dark wooden club that narrows to a point at both ends. There are raised veins in the grain of the wood. The right end and point are wider than the end on the left.

A straight, dark wooden bow. There are notches for attaching a string at both ends and the string is laying along the bow. There are four bands of brown string wrapped along the shaft for decoration.

  • Bow made of wood from the purpleheart tree. 
  • The bow is not properly strung, with the rope hanging loosely at the side. 
  • Both ends of the bow have notches for attaching the string, and the shaft of the bow is decorated with bands of wrapped string.

A brown wooden grandfather clock with a peacock carved into the top and carved dragons on the supports. There is a floral pattern around the clock face and pendulum case. The clock is off-white with gold numbers and hands. The pendulum is also off-white.

  • Floral designs cover most of the clock and mount. A peacock sits at the top of the clock and two dragons form the supports for the wall mount.

  • Double bowl is carved from mulberry wood, and a thin membrane made from stretched lambskin was applied to cover the opening.

A spear with a metal head tied to a brown wooden shaft with string. The spearhead has a large barb on the end and a smaller one closer to the shaft.

  • The spearhead is tied to a wooden shaft with string. 
Artifact
Three spears with wooden shafts and metal spear heads. The one on top is the shortest and is made from dark wood. It has a tapered point. The middle spear is light-coloured and has a rounded head. The bottom spear is light-coloured and has a long pointed head.
