Description

  • A couple of workers standing in front of a flowing oil well in the Sumatra jungle. 
  • A rough overhang has been built over the equipment to provide shade. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to Robert Rawlings, who drilled for oil in Sumatra from 1890 until 1902.
