Description

  • A man carrying two tables balanced on either end of a pole which is balanced across his shoulders. A group of people are watching in the background, sitting near a fence. 
  • The man is most likely a vendor of some sort and is carrying his goods. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to Robert Rawlings, who drilled for oil in Sumatra from 1890 until 1902.
