  • Back of the postcard reads: "I have not much time so am just sending a postcard to let you know I am all right never better in my life sent a letter to Edith by a sailing boat a week ago the launch just came in and is going right away with love to all, Will."
  • Postcard is addressed to Ellen Gillespie of Petrolia, Ontario.

Background Information

  • Part of a postcard collection belonging to William Gillespie who worked in the Dutch East Indies (modern South East Asia) in the 1920s.
