Toy Knife

Description

  • Double-ended knife made of purple heart wood from the jungles of Colombia.
  • Both ends of the centre grip are wrapped in orange, green, and natural coloured twine.
  • Centre of the grip is wrapped in animal fur.
  • This knife was made for children to play with.

Background Information

  • Purchased as a memento by John Braybrook, who worked in Colombia from 1930 to 1943.
