Background Information

  • La machine de trempage pour le pétrole brut a été inventée par Henry Gregory. Elle était utilisée pour les puits qui ne produisaient pas suffisamment de pétrole pour installer de l’équipement pour pomper le pétrole jusqu’à la surface.  

  • La machine descendait une cuiller de curage jusqu’au pétrole brut, pour ensuite la remonter à la surface pour la vider.
