Description
- Two Japanese people dressed in traditional clothing stand in front of the stone foundation of a temple, with cerry blossoms at the front.
- The photograph has been tinted with colour.
Background Information
- Part of a photograph collection belonging to Robert Rawlings, who drilled for oil in Sumatra from 1890 until 1902.
- Rawlings visited Yokohama, Japan on his way back to Canada, so it is likely that this temple is located there.
