Toy Knife
Description
Toy knife made from the wood of the purpleheart tree found in the local area.
Handle is wrapped in orange-, green-, and natural-coloured hemp string with a band of animal fur in the centre.
Used as a toy by the native children of the jungle villages in Colombia.
Background Information
Purchased as a memento by John Braybrook, International Driller in Colombia from 1930 to 1943.
