Description

  • Hair comb made from light-coloured wood
  • Has small, very thin pieces of wood for the teeth
  • The teeth are inserted through a central piece of wood. 
  • Japanese writing on the central piece, in black and red print

Background Information

  • Purchased as a memento by Robert Rawlings who drilled in Sumatra on two contracts between 1880 and 1902.
