Description

  • Letter written by John Growder to his brother, Peter Growder, instructing him to share the tea that he sent with anyone who asks for some. 
  • John Growder instructs his brother to keep the buffalo heads and bear skin which he sent in a dry room. 
  • He mentions that he and W.L. Mackenzie are going to start a tool manugacturing and engineering business in London. 
  • Written on stationary from the Loudoun Hotel in London, England.

Background Information

  • In 1906, International Driller John Growder had just completed his first contract to work in India. Over the next 20 years, he would return to India, and also work in Persia (modern Iran), Japan, and Egypt.
