Description

  • Fire billows in the background of an unknown oil field. A few derricks can be seen in the foreground along with a couple of wooden huts.

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to John Growder who drilled for oil in India, Arabia, Japan, and Egypt from 1898 until 1931.
