Description
Southeast Asian headhunter's axe with a short, wide blade, and a wooden handle.
The wooden handle has holes at the end where tufts of hair are added, each representing a victim.
The portion of the handle located near the blade is decorated with red braided strings.

Brought back from North Borneo, Java, or Assam oil fields by Thomas A. Collins who worked there.
Axe is possibly associated with the Naga tribe of Assam.
