Bulldozers Pulling Casing

Description

  • A pair of bulldozers are used to haul equipment, in this case casing, through the jungles of what is probably Ecuador.
  • Bulldozers had to stay on the riverbeds because they would often encounter quick sand if they deveated from known paths. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to George Rawlings who drilled for oil in Africa and South America from 1910 to 1932.
