Marker consists of a stone cross on top of a three-stepped base.
Printed cardstock indicates the grave marker was commissioned from Scott & Rae, monumental sculptors of Glasgow, Scotland.
Background Information
David "Charles" Holmes travelled to Persia (modern Iran) in early 1916. He died later that year of contaminated drinking water.
