Silver Tea Cups

Description

  • Two small silver tea cups with handles and small glass inserts. 
  • Each tea cup has three figures engraved in a vignette: two profile heads of kings and a female figure portrayed to the waist. 
  • The rest of the cup has a floral pattern with the background cut out. 

History of Use

  • Used for drinking sweet tea

Background Information

  • Purchased as a memento by Harry Smith in Persia (modern Iran).
