Description

  • Dagger made from a drill bit
  • Dagger`s blade is incised with Darwin`s (Eric Hussey`s son) name as well as a floral pattern
  • Sheath is made of blue velvet which is worn through in places
  • Haft is inlaid with mother-of-pearl

Background Information

  • The dagger was given to Eric Hussey by a local labourer while he was drilling in Northern India (modern Pakistan).
