Description

  • Long, low building which stands just behind a railroad. There are oil tanks situated in the hills in the background. 

  • A note on the photo indicates that these are the "Talara General Offices", likely of the International Petroleum Company. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to Gerald Currie who worked for the International Petroleum Company in Talara, Peru from 1923 to 1949.
