Description

  • A group of International Drillers and local workers pose with a snake which was presumably caught at the site of a drilling rig in Venezuela. 
  • Harry Smith is standing third from the left and is holding an ocelot kitten which he eventually brought home to Canada with him. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to Frederick Thomas Webb who worked in South America in the late 1920s.
