Description

  • A steel derrick has crumpled on one side due to overload. A group of three men stand at the top to carry out repairs while another man climbs up the side. 
  • The location is unknown, but is either Dehloran, Iran or Naft Khana, Iraq. 

Background Information

  • Part of a photograph collection belonging to Ernest Kells who worked in Persia (modern Iran) in the 1920s.
